Extended until end June!
Vista is set to showcase some of the art and craft pieces created by Vista members who are predominantly over 60 years of age and are blind or partially sighted. With this exhibition Vista aims to dispel the misconception that visual-ability is essential to artistic excellence. This free exhibition aims to encourage people of all ages, backgrounds and ability to explore the world of art and have no fears in trying something new.
In order to mark the 150th Anniversary, Vista will show pieces from both individuals and teams which have been created to commemorate this special occasion.
The event was opened by The Right Worshipful, The Lord Mayor of Leicester, Councillor Gary Hunt on 4th April and will close on 2nd June. The exhibition is at the Richard Attenborough Centre, Lancaster Road, Leicester, LE1 7HA.
