BlindArt in New York, October 2005
BlindArt founder and director Sheri Khayami and Project Manager Barbara Johnson will be travelling to New York to take part in an International Conference, 14th -15th October where Sheri Khayami will partake in a panel discussion on Artists Responses to the Multi-sensory Challenge. Art Beyond Sight: Multi-modal Approaches to Learning, is an international conference in New York City, co-sponsored by Art Education for the Blind (AEB), The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum Access Consortium (MAC). The first day’s activities take place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the second day’s are held at the Museum of Modern Art and the Dahesh Museum of Art.

Also on the 17th October 2005 Barbara Johnson will be participating with Art Education for the Blind’s annual Telephone Conference Crash Course. She will be a guest speaker for the 3.00 - 4.00pm telephone session, titled Art Making and Multi-sensory Art Materials.
