On 3rd March 2005 BlindArt  was hosting a Gala Evening to raise funds for the development of a permanent collection of works of art that is accessible to everyone, both physically and emotionally.
 
The Gala was held in the Henry Moore Gallery, Royal College of Art.

 The evening  featured a presentation titled ‘Sightless Vision’ by Professor  Samir Zeki, Pioneer and Director of the Neuroesthetics Institute, with entertainment provided by Denise Leigh winner of Operatunity and lutenist Matthew Wadsworth, together with a mouth watering menu from Mosimann’s.
